Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-04
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. ALLR uses as few as possible, in two groups: essential cookies the site can't run without, and one optional cookie we only set if you agree.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
| allr_session | Essential | Keeps you signed in during a visit (holds your authenticated session). | Session |
| allr_refresh | Essential | Lets you stay signed in across visits without re-entering your password. | Up to 30 days |
| allr_csrf | Essential | Security — protects forms and account actions against cross-site request forgery. | Session |
| Impact (affiliate) | Optional | Set by our affiliate network only after you accept cookies, so a retailer knows a purchase came from ALLR. Carries no personal data. | Per network policy |
Essential cookies
These keep you signed in and protect your account. Because they're strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, they don't require consent — but they also carry no advertising or tracking purpose. If you block them, sign-in and saved data won't work.
Optional: affiliate cookie
ALLR earns commission when you buy through an outbound retailer link. To credit those purchases, our affiliate network (Impact) can set a cookie after you click a Buy link — but only if you accepted cookies on the banner shown on your first visit. Decline and you still get the full price-comparison experience; we just lose attribution on that purchase. More detail is in our Affiliate Disclosure.
How to control cookies
You can accept or decline the optional cookie from the banner on your first visit, and change your mind any time by clearing ALLR's cookies in your browser settings — the banner will ask again on your next visit. Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies globally; note that blocking the essential cookies will stop sign-in from working.
